Course Description
The O Level is a 1-year foundation course in the field of IT (Information Technology) Conducted by Nielit. Nielit is the acronym for the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology. Every year, this course starts in the month of January and July. Registration notice & process is published on the official website of Nielit from time to time.
The "Nielit O Level Course" aims to develop the basic skills of the non-technical background students and enable them to acquire a sound knowledge of Information Technology. The value of this course is very important for the students, who prepare for state-level govt jobs. besides this, there are many career options available in the private sector for the o level qualifiers. This computer course is a golden chance for non-tech. background students to step into the world of IT and pursue their careers in the fields of Information Technology. this course will provide you with essential skills that can simply be transferred into any kind of software industry or services sector. You will develop proficiency in many technologies like – Computer Fundamentals, Web Designing, Internet Marketing, Python Programming, & Internet of things.
O Level Course Duration
The duration of the Nielit 'O Level' complete course is 1 Year (max. 520 hours) after completing the 10+2. but if you have qualified for graduation (10+2+3), then you can cover it in six months.
Eligibility for O Level Computer Course
Any students, job seekers, or working professionals, who had completed their 10+2, or ITI (1 Year after 10th) from any recognized board/institution of India, can join this "Nielit O Level" course and enhance their career in Information technology.
O Level Course Structure
The O Level Exam' is conducted by Nielit, previously known as DOEACC. The O Level Computer Course has divided into 4 Modules. These Modules are as follows - M1R5, M2R5, M3R5 & M3R5. where 'M' stands for the number of modules & 'R' stands for the number of revisions to the syllabus.
The M1R5 code is used for O Level first paper, which is IT Tools and Network Basis. The M2R5 code is used for the O Level Second paper, which is Web Designing & Publishing. M3R5 code is used for O Level third paper, which is Problem Solving and Python Programming, and so on the M4R5 code is used for O Level fourth paper, which is the Internet of Things and Its Applications.

O Level Exam Pattern
Recently, Nielit has changed the O Level Exam pattern. Nielit O Level Exam is fully based on MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). In this exam, 100 MCQs are asked, which gives a total time of 120 minutes to solve.
The new exam pattern for the O Level is as follows -

Negative Marking in O Level Exam
The Nielit O level Exam consists of 100 questions. The questions will be asked in all subjects covering all essential modules. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in this exam.
O Level Grading System
The Grading system for the O Level Examination is as follows:

Recently, Nielit has revised the fee structure of O Level exams. The new fee structure for the "O Level Course" are as follows.
